Louisa Adair, RN Louisa received her nursing degree from Gardner Webb University and also studied education at Western Carolina University. She currently specializes in the skin care aspects of our practice, but also has experience in critical care. Louisa's expertise include individualized skin care programs, laser facials, microdermabrasion, facial ultrasound, chemical peels and laser hair removal. Her results are impressive and a great asset to Upstate Plastic Surgery. Louisa is also the manager of Upstate Skin Care Center and Spa. Please feel free to call her with any questions concerning spa services and skin care treatments. Kristi Blackwell Kristi is one of the first faces to greet you when arriving at Upstate Plastic Surgery. She joined our front desk staff in Fall of 2006. Her previous experience includes directing a preschool, as well as reception in the car industry. She is a native of the Upstate, and we know that you will find that Kristi is always pleasant and happy to assist you in any way that she can. Carol Broome Carol is one of our receptionists and has been with Upstate Plastic Surgery since Fall of 2000. She previously worked for Umbro as a Production Scheduling Manager here in Greenville. Carol's cheerful disposition and outstanding organizational skills keep the office running smoothly. She is another excellent source of information for patients and can be extremely helpful with insurance matters. Chris Hamby RN Chris joined Upstate Plastic Surgery in 2004. She received her nursing degree from Greenville Tech, and has many years of nursing experience both in obstetrics and the recovery room following surgery. Chris is currently our nursing director and manager of the surgery center. She ensures a safe and comfortable experience for our patients. Her expertise are greatly appreciated by everyone. Karen Landen, LPN Upstate Plastic Surgery recruited Karen in September of 2001. She studied nursing at Reinhardt College in Georgia, as well as Dekalb Technical Insitute. Karen brings a wealth of experience from prior employment at Paces Plastic Surgery Center in Atlanta, and the Voci Center and Spa in Charlotte. Karen assists our surgeons in the operating room and in the office. She is an excellent resource for patients who have undergone or are contemplating undergoing plastic surgery. Amber Lee, CST Amber joined the staff of Upstate Plastic Surgery in Fall of 2006. She has been a surgical technologist for over 10 years previously working at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Amber earned her degree from Greenville Tech. She is very helpful in assisting our surgeons both in the office and the operating room. Amber always has a cheerful smile and is willing to assist our patients in any way that she can. Yevette McAmish Yevette is the business manager of Upstate Plastic Surgery. Yevette has decades of experience working in medical offices at all levels. Yevette came to us from Cardiology Consultants in Spartanburg. She is particularly knowledgeable about health insurance. Her expertise and efficiency have been a wonderful addition to our office. Katie Moon CST Katie is one of our surgical technologists. She earned her degree from Greenville Tech. Katie has been with Upstate Plastic Surgery since Spring of 2004. Katie assists our surgeons in office consultations, as well as in the operating room and during your postoperative healing process. She is very helpful during your decision making process, and her warm and caring bedside manner is appreciated by all. Stacy Nelms Stacy is a welcome addition to the staff of Upstate Plastic Surgery. She joined our staff in 2004. Stacy works in our insurance filing and billing department. She keeps this process running smoothly which our patients find very beneficial and is always happy to answer any questions. Steve Paveglio, CRNA Steve is graduate of Adel-Phi University in Garden City, NJ where he received his bachelor’s degree in nursing. He then studied Anesthesia at New York Medical College. Steve has been a nurse anesthetist for over 20 years working both in large medical centers, as well as outpatient settings. He has been in the Greenville area for over 15 years. His professional experience includes working in general surgery, cardiovascular, thoracic, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics and plastic surgery. Steve provides a safe and state of the art anesthesia experience for all of our cosmetic patients. Judy Senn, CST Judy has been with Upstate Plastic Surgery since 1998. She studied surgical technology at Spartanburg Tech and has worked as a private surgical scrub throughout her career. Judy has years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery and assists our surgeons in the operating room and in the office. She is very knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions and provide information for our patients. Christy Williams Christy is our surgery scheduler. She has previous experience in scheduling from Cross Creek Asthma and Allergy. Her responsibilities include obtaining insurance precertification, scheduling operations, and coordinating combined operations performed with other surgical specialties. Christy also provides financial information to patients who are considering cosmetic surgery. Our patients are grateful for her ability to schedule their operation at a convenient date and in a timely manner.
